By train or bus / hiking or cycling from King’s Lynn
From King’s Lynn railway station (an end-of-the-line stop, so you can’t miss it) – head west two blocks over to the town’s bus station and take bus No. 3 (timetable 3). Get off on Manor Road (known as North Wootton Green), and head west towards North Wootton church (All Saints).
From the church, head down Station Road passed the Red Cat pub and Wootton Halt (former railway station), both on your right, and then keep going until you see the marked stile or vehicle access sign to Four Oaks Camping campsite, both on your left (250 and 500 metres, respectively).
Alternatively, hike or bike the dismantled King’s Lynn to Hunstanton railway route straight out of town to North Wootton village (clearly marked as National Cycle Route 1) via St James’ Park (The Walks) – it’s roughly three miles. Head west to North Wootton Church at the junction with Manor Road (as above).
