Absolutely fabulous! Simple “back to basics” spacious campsite but done really well. Clean & eco friendly facilities (compost toilets, privacy cubicle, sink, solar powered chargers). Very friendly owners who were happy to chat & explain their ethos & how things worked. Because it was “off-grid” we were treated to a beautiful sunset, starry night and shooting stars. Ideal location half way between King’s Lynn & Heacham, and close to the Sandringham Estate. Would definitely visit again. The owner mentioned that some people bring a solar shower, which would be useful if staying for more than one night (although we just chucked the kids in the sea to freshen up!).

Fab Rural Location with Awesome HostsEverything was 5 star from communication to greeting on site. They were fab and the vista from any of the fields were just amazing. We got the last supermoon of the year and the sky was just pink. They have gone out of their way in their first year to deliver on their philosphy of being as eco-friendly as possible from composting toilets to hay-urinals, solar-panels for any lighting and keeping the fields just natural. Absolutely fab. I hope they return next year and look forward to staying again.
There is a pub a short 10 min walk away (drinks, no food), with a Tesco Express, fish bar and other pubs a short drive away (10 mins max). The village is lovely and really rural.

Just returned from staying on Four Oaks Camping and have to write to say this is a fantastic site. Owners are amazing really friendly and so helpful. We really thought it was a nice touch that buckets were provided for you to take water to your tent and also firepits were free of charge if available. The site has plenty of space for you to choose where you want to pitch your tent and is in a very peaceful and secluded location. The area around the campsite is stunning and there are plenty of super markets close by. The eco friendly facilities on site are spotless and are really smart and well designed. The campsite has a great atmosphere about it and we hope this continues as a site as it has the potential to become something very special.

The campsite facilitators were very friendly and approachable. They explained the use of the campsite facilities and gave us activity suggestions for around Norfolk. The campsite itself is maintained and very eco-efficient for a true camping experience. We loved it! It is very spacious unlike other campsites and close to various beaches.

“The site is stunning. Masses of room and strict limits on numbers..”

Perfect site!.. The welcome was amazing, with Simon staying on the site himself, with his family, when we were there. The site is stunning. Masses of room and strict limits on numbers (something like only 25 tents and 6 campers allowed across the 2 large fields). The site facilities are basic for sure (cold water, a splash room for solar showers and some composting loos) but don’t need any more. We set up seemingly miles from anyone, had no view of other campers and felt at peace. Got the fire pit and bbq going and was in heaven, looking at stars upon stars in the night sky. The local villages and towns are close enough and offer plenty and north norfolk was a lovely as ever. Definately going back next year. Thank you.

Excellent experience, amazing facilities and friendly staff… Location and peacefulness are definitely top notch! Facilities are very environmentally friendly and well maintained. Loads of room for family to spend time together and especially to run around! Close to awesome beaches and Asda is only up the road. Excellent experience overall and it provides beautiful sunrise as well as darkness to watch the stars at night.

We had a lovely short stay at Four Oaks camp site. There was masses of space in a huge field with excellent facilities. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and were keen to share their tips on how best to explore the area so we had a great day at the seaside and a wonderful walk to Castle Rising. It was fantastic to see how much effort had been put into making the site as green and ecological as possible.

Lovely site, quiet, very nice welcome, very eco friendly,( bring a solar shower if needed) had a lovely pitch, watched sunset through the trees, against a perfect blue sky., only been open a couple of weeks, so everything was spotless. I am a solo bike packer, and a grumpy olld fart too😂. But even I left with a smile and looking forward to returning. Shame I had further travel plans…

Great campsite with lots of space so it felt tranquil and private. Great, clean, eco-friendly facilities and wood for sale. Hosts were very friendly and gave great recommendations for the local area. We loved the location with many beaches to explore and really enjoyed seeing seals!

“This site was our idea of camping heaven…”

This site was our idea of camping heaven. You can pitch up where ever you want,so no set pitches on top of each other like other sites we have been to. Wide open very well kept fields with tons of space. Beautiful seating area underneath large trees with swings and a fire pit, perfect for bbq’s. Plenty of fire pits that you can take back to your tent aswell. The freedom you have on this sight is fantastic. Very clean, nicely built and decorated toilet blocks with lovely added touches such as sanitary items for the ladies and a charging block between the two cabins. We took our 7 month old rescue puppy and she had a whale of a time with all the open space and long grass to sniff through. The owner and his daughter greeted us when we arrived and were very friendly and informative about all the facilities at the site. There was a big information board with everything you needed to know about the area aswell. Very close to some lovely dog friendly beaches and also woodland walks and the castle. All in all a beautiful site that we will definitely be returning to next year.”

A lovely space with just the best natural facilities. A real haven of peace and tranquility away from the madding crowds. Ideally located for lots of interesting places to explore. The site was lovely and spacious, love the facilities – had them all and were eco friendly. The owners were lovely and gave a little induction to the site and area. Never had this before but it made the experience very personal. I would definitely book again.

I personally like the remote locations and minimalist camping so it ticked my boxes. If you rely on electric hook up probably not for you.

We stayed here when it had just opened the week before. The campsite looks great and has great natural facilities. Simon is a wonderful host, is willing to help and gives some great advice. Come here if you want to relax and enjoy nature.

What a find! We’ve already booked to go back next week. If you want something back to basics then this is the place. It’s rare to find sites nowadays where you’re not crammed in.. this site is massive and so peaceful and spacious. We can’t wait to return!
